Chapter 21: Thunder in the Infinity

Melania, Endar, and Kairen stood at the heart of the new Eternity, watching as the space around them pulsed and changed, as if time itself couldn’t find its form. The vast world before them, seeming endless and just beginning to reveal itself, was still in a state of birth. Yet they already knew: something very serious was approaching, and it was more than just changes in Eternity. It was a battle with its very core.

“We should have understood this long ago,” Endar said, staring at the reflection of the new forms of Eternity. “It’s not just being built. It’s evolving, it’s gaining will. And if we don’t take control of it, it will consume us.”

Kairen nodded, holding his sword in his hands, as if ready for battle. “But how do we take control of something that can change instantly? How can we stop this energy that moves in every direction?”

Melania looked up, where the light from the core of Eternity was overshadowed by chaos. The light that once gave hope now started to tear apart, scattering into countless pieces that seemed like an endless storm. And even amidst this chaos, she felt something enormous approaching, like the sky itself tearing with thunder. It was a presence they had long awaited, but no one could be prepared for what was now happening.

“It’s him,” Melania whispered. “It’s his power.”

She felt a storm erupt around her. The mist thickened, and from it began to emerge figures, distorted and grotesque, covered in darkness, the reflection of Astran, who had once destroyed the old Eternity.

From the depth of that mist, a silhouette appeared, more than just a shape. It was something extraordinarily powerful, awakening after a long sleep, ready for battle. This was not just Astran; it was his essence, one of many reflected forms, which had not disappeared, not been destroyed, but transformed into an unrelenting force that sought to control Eternity.

“You will not defeat me,” came a voice, like the rumble of thunder that echoed with each word. “Is this all you can do? Eternity is only beginning to manifest itself, and this is your punishment.”

Astran stood before them, his figure blurred but undeniably present. It was unchanging, as if the very form of Eternity had been warped, beginning to distort the surrounding space.

“You are all still naïve,” he said, his voice low and heavy. “What you are trying to create must be erased. I am part of this process, and I will not let you define the new rules.”

Endar stepped forward, his sword gleaming in the darkness. “You cannot stop us. We’ve defeated you before, and we’ll do it again.”

Astran smiled, his face becoming more and more indistinct. “Your words mean nothing. Each of you carries within you a part of this chaos. Each of you is a part of the same destruction.”

Soon the darkness around him expanded, and from it began to emerge countless shadows, reflecting not only fears but also ambitions, doubts, and uncertainties, all that the heroes had experienced during their struggle with Astran.

“This is not just a battle,” Kairen said, feeling his strength beginning to wane. “It’s a battle with ourselves. These are our fears, our mistakes, our past.”

“This is what we fear,” Melania agreed, remembering the symbol she held in her hands, activating it with the strength of her spirit. “But we can change it.”

The battle began with new intensity. The surrounding shadows began to coalesce into new forms, creating a real whirlwind. They moved swiftly, reflecting every step and thought of the heroes.

“Astran!” Endar shouted, making another attempt to break through the darkness. “We are no longer afraid of you. You cannot stop us!”

But these words only shattered the space around them. The shadows reflected their past doubts and fears, forcing them to turn their gaze backward each time.

Meanwhile, Melania gathered all her strength, focusing on the symbol. She knew this wasn’t just a battle with external forces. It was a battle for the future, for what could become the new Eternity.

“We must become stronger,” she said. “Find the strength within us and not let them break us.”

The three of them felt a new wave of energy pass through them. It was firm and unyielding, like steel, and they knew: to win, they needed not only to fight the external enemy but also to confront their own inner demons.

With each step, they drew closer to the center of the battle, to the very heart of Eternity, which could not find peace.

The storm reached its peak as the darkness enveloped everything around them. But along with the new choice of the heroes, a new path for Eternity began. Only through courage could they break this cycle and create something new.

“This is not the end,” Melania said. “It’s just the beginning of a great struggle.”

But they were ready for what lay ahead. They were ready to become the creators of a new world, casting aside everything that had hindered their progress.
