Chapter 19: A Dream in the Eternal Garden

The world slowly settled, as if breathing along with Emiren.

The silence that followed all the storms felt strange at first, even eerie. But gradually, he understood—it was not emptiness, not an ending, but the beginning of a new state, where time was no longer a force that ruled over everything but a gentle breeze flowing through reality.

Emiren stood in the Eternal Garden, which was changing along with him. The trees, once rigid like stone, now rustled their leaves softly, as if they, too, were experiencing freedom for the first time. Flowers bloomed in rhythm with his breath, and even the light no longer battled with the shadows but intertwined with them, creating a shimmering harmony.

He no longer felt the burden of power.

He was no longer the one who had to decide fates.

The Path That Ends

Emiren looked back.

Behind him, there was no war. No destruction.

All possible paths were now merely echoes fading among the branches. The past no longer demanded explanations, and the future no longer pushed him forward.

— You have made your choice, — a voice said.

Emiren was not surprised.

Before him stood the Hollow One, but now he no longer seemed like the untouchable shadow Emiren had once known. His form was clearer, and his voice was softer.

— I no longer have to fight? — Emiren asked.

— No. Time no longer needs a master.

The Hollow One stepped forward and touched the trunk of one of the trees. It responded to his touch with a gentle glow that spread through its branches.

— What now? — Emiren asked quietly.

— Now the Eternal Garden will grow on its own. You no longer need to guide it.

Emiren looked around once more.

Flamen was gone. He had already chosen his own path.

The other Shapers had disappeared as well, as had those who had sought to destroy time.

All choices had been made.

The world no longer needed control.

The Last Breath of Time

Emiren felt something shifting.

His own presence in this place was becoming lighter. As if his very being was no longer confined to a body, no longer tied to fate or duty.

He approached one of the trees and placed his hand on it.

— Now you are a part of this garden, — said the Hollow One.

— Is this my destiny?

— It is your choice.

Emiren nodded.

He felt his legs growing weightless, felt the light beginning to pass through his skin, felt each breath filling him not with air but with life itself.

He no longer had questions.

He no longer needed answers.

A Dream in Eternity

Emiren sat beneath a tree.

His fingers brushed the soft grass, warm under the sun. The leaves above him rustled quietly, whispering the last story he needed to hear.

He no longer had to decide, to shape, or to fight.

He simply closed his eyes.

And the Eternal Garden sang him a lullaby as he drifted into sleep.

Somewhere far away, in a place where time no longer held power, a new day began without his interference.

And the Eternal Garden continued to grow.
