A path appeared before them.
It had no fixed form—it shifted with every step they took, sometimes widening into a gleaming surface that reflected a starry sky, sometimes narrowing into a trembling thread, barely holding their weight.

And ahead, beyond a dim veil of light, something greater awaited them.
Something that determined the laws of Time.
The Children of the First Creators
As soon as Emiren, Flamen, and the Hollow approached the center, the space around them trembled, and figures emerged.
Not like the Keepers of the Boundary. And not the ghosts of the First Creators.
These three were different—they resembled Emiren, Flamen, and the Hollow themselves.
One had shimmering silver hair and eyes that changed color along with the flows of time surrounding him.
The second burned with a fire that did not scorch but instead created new matter from the void.
The third was almost invisible, like a shadow existing between light and darkness.
— You have come far, — the first one spoke.
— You have learned who created Time, — the second one said.
— But you do not yet know who governs it, — the third one added.
Emiren tensed.
— Is it you?
— We do not govern. We merely determine which rules will take effect.
— But rules can be changed, can’t they? — Flamen interrupted.
The one made of shadows smiled.
— That is precisely why you are here.
The Essence of Laws
The space around them began to shift.
Before Emiren, an ancient scroll appeared, written in a language he did not know—yet he understood every word.
Flamen saw before him a ring of pure fire, spinning and constantly changing shape.
The Hollow felt something invisible unfolding around him—a web of emptiness, waiting for his choice.
— Here they are—the Laws of Time, — the silver-haired one explained.
— They are recorded in this sphere, in this light, in every moment that was and will be.
Emiren felt the document’s energy coursing through him.
— Who wrote them?
— No one. They formed on their own when the first events took on sequence. But they are not unbreakable.
— They can be changed?
— Yes. But if you alter the Law of Time, you must be ready to bear the consequences.
Emiren’s Choice
Flamen stepped forward, staring into the fire before him.
— What happens if I rewrite the rules?
— A new Time. A different world. A history without limits.
— And if I destroy them? — the Hollow asked.
— Time will collapse. And only what existed before will remain—chaos.
Emiren felt understanding growing within him.
Now he knew.
This entire journey had led to one thing: the chance to decide whether he was worthy of reshaping the very existence of reality.
Three paths lay before him:
1. Rewrite the Laws and create a new chronology.
2. Destroy them and return the world to chaos.
3. Accept them as they are and walk away.
— You cannot hesitate for long, — the shadow whispered. — For even the time you take to decide follows the laws.
Emiren took a deep breath.
He knew that once he made his choice, there would be no turning back.
But the choice had to be made.
