Chapter 31: Acceptance of the Truth

Lumis and Eili stood before the unknown, feeling how the space around them seemed to shift, dissolving into infinity. This place was beyond any measure of time and space, where everything felt so real yet so illusory. They could no longer be certain of what surrounded them—was it the world, a dimension, or the result of their efforts to find answers?

The silence was overwhelming. They couldn’t hear a single sound, yet it reverberated deep within their consciousness. But suddenly, before them, appeared an entity—not quite human, yet not entirely something else. It was formless, yet its presence could be felt in every corner of this space, like the essence that defined the reality around them.

“Who are you?” Lumis asked, his voice ringing through the emptiness, sensing the weight of the moment.

The entity did not answer with words, but its form began to shift. It took on the shape of something that could only be described as a vast stream of light, flowing through the very fabric of existence. It was both a force and a softness, clarity and incomprehensibility all at once.

“We are what remains of what you’ve been seeking,” its voice finally echoed, not only in their ears but deep within their souls. “You’ve long sought the truth, but it was always here, within you. What you see now is merely a reflection of what you’re ready to see.”

Eili shuddered, her gaze becoming intense, like that of someone suddenly realizing the significance of what was happening. She looked at Lumis, and both felt an invisible pull drawing them closer to the entity. It was not just an image or figure—it was something more, the very truth that gave life to everything around them.

“Why are we here?” Eili asked, not taking her eyes off it. “What are we supposed to understand?”

The entity slowly changed its form again, creating spirals of light around them, twisting and blending, turning every image that appeared before them into a pattern of intricate interaction.

“You are here because you need to understand that everything you’ve sought was inside you from the very beginning. Your actions affect reality, but only when you’re ready to see how they reflect your own essence. What you call reality is merely an interpretation of your consciousness,” it explained.

Lumis fell silent for a moment, trying to grasp the meaning of what had been said. His mind was overwhelmed by new ideas that seemed to go beyond familiar categories. Now he understood: this entire world was not just the product of his search, but a reflection of his inner state. The line between the outer and inner world was becoming increasingly blurred.

“So, we’re the ones who create all of this?” he asked.

The entity melted into the light, its outline becoming more indistinct, yet its presence remained, as though the concept of this truth itself was here.

“Yes, you are part of this reality because your perceptions of it define its existence. And each of you, like every element in this world, has its role. You must decide if you’re ready to accept this responsibility.”

Eili stepped forward, her eyes focused, as though she had realized something essential.

“And what if we’re not ready? What if we can’t accept this truth?”

The entity lingered in its luminous form, as though weighing these words in its infinity.

“Then you will begin your journey again. But this journey will not be the same; it will be another version of reality, one that will be understandable to you only when you encounter the same truth again, but in a different form.”

From these words, it was clear that it wasn’t just a question of existence or understanding the world. It was a question of their very being, their choice, and how they were willing to change this world—whether they were prepared to take responsibility for everything that would follow.

Once again, Lumis and Eili looked at each other. They realized that their struggle and search had no end, but they could not retreat, because the choice they had made was crucial for the entire reality.

This was not simply a question of existence or understanding the world. It was a question of their own existence, their choice, and how they were ready to change the world, whether they were ready to accept responsibility for all that would come next.
